Αυτή τη Πρωτοχρονιά θα αποχαιρετήσουμε το 2019 με τυμπανοκρουσίες, yoga, και ένα ξέφρενο πάρτι στη Μαλόκα. Πνεύμα γιορτινό, ευκαιρία για μουσική έκφραση, χαλάρωση, πάρτι και χορό

Drum Circle
Όλοι έχουμε νιώσει κάποια στιγμή την ανάγκη να χτυπήσουμε με ρυθμό ένα τύμπανο, αλλά ακόμη και ένα κουτάλι σε ένα ποτήρι ή τα χέρια στο τραπέζι. Όλοι έχουμε μέσα μας ρυθμό. Τα πάντα στη φύση πάλλονται με ρυθμό και η καρδιά μας το ίδιο. Όλοι κρύβουμε μέσα μας έναν εν δυνάμει κρουστό!

30 περίπου κρουστά όργανα djembe, doundoun, caxixi, bells που προέρχονται από την μουσική παράδοση της Δυτικής Αφρικής. θα σας περιμένουν στην ζεστή Μαλόκα για να διαλέξετε και να μπείτε στο ρυθμό.
Επιλέγοντας ο καθένας το όργανο ή την θέση στον κύκλο που τον εμπνέει, θα δημιουργήσουμε σταδιακά ένα μουσικό σύνολο. Μέσα σε ένα τριήμερο θα εξερευνήσουμε τις πολλαπλές ηχητικές ικανότητες των τυμπάνων και υπό την καθοδήγηση του facilitator, Νίκου Πολυχρονίδη, θα νιώσουμε τη δύναμη του group drumming. Στόχος μας θα είναι να απελευθερώσουμε και να εκφράσουμε τα συναισθήματα μας όχι με λόγια αλλά με τη μουσικότητα που ο καθένας κρύβει μέσα του και τελικά να φτιάξουμε τη δική μας μουσική όπου η κάθε μονάδα θα είναι αναπόσπαστο μέλος του συνόλου που θα δημιουργήσουμε. Το πιο μαγικό από όλα είναι ότι δεν χρειάζεται κάποια προηγούμενη εμπειρία ενώ το αποτέλεσμα από τη συμμετοχή του καθενός είναι τελικά εναρμονισμένο με το όλο!

The Temple: Maloca
Η Μαλόκα η αίθουσα μας είναι ο χώρος που θα φιλοξενήσει όλες τις δραστηριότητες στον αποχαιρετισμό της χρονιάς που φεύγει και αυτής που έρχεται. Μία 100τμ οχτάγωνη χειροποίητη αίθουσα που από μόνη της αποτελεί εμπειρία, όχι μόνο με την ομορφιά της, τα φυσικά υλικά με τα οποία είναι φτιαγμένη, την ατμόσφαιρα που προσδίδει η αυτοστηριζομενη σπειροειδής της στέγη αλλά και την μοναδική της ηχητική όπως δηλώνουν οι μουσικοί που την έχουν επισκεφτεί.

Yoga
Τα μαθήματα Yoga της Amber τα λατρεύουν όλοι γιατί είναι για όλους χωρίς να αφήνουν κανένα παραπονεμένο προχωρημένο ή μη. Χαλάρωση, τεντώματα, αλλά και ευκαιρία να προσγειώσουμε τον εαυτό μας στη πρόθεση μας για τη χρονιά που έρχεται και να την κρατήσουμε στη καρδιά μας.

Food
Οι σεφ της Κουζίνας του Re-Green θα ετοιμάσουν λιχουδιές καθημερινές με λαχανικά από τον κήπο και από δίκτυο βιολογικών προϊόντων. Το Πρωτοχρονιάτικο τραπέζι θα προσφέρει φαγητό χορτοφαγικό απόλυτα εορταστικό.

This New Year’s Eve we will release 2019 with drumming, yoga, and a crazy party in the Maloca. A festive spirit, an opportunity for musical expression, relaxation, partying and dancing

Drum Circle
We have all felt the need to beat a drum, but even a spoon in a glass or hands on the table. We all have rhythm within us. Everything in nature vibrates with rhythm and our heart is the same. We all hide within us a potential percussionist!

About 30 percussion instruments of djembe, doundoun, caxixi, bells from West African music tradition. will be waiting for you inside the warm Maloca to pick and tune in.
By choosing an instrument or position in the circle that inspires you, we will gradually create a musical ensemble. Within a three-day period we will explore the multiple drumming capabilities of the drums and under the guidance of the facilitator Nikos Polychronidis, we will feel the power of group drumming. Our goal will be to release and express our emotions not in words but in the musicality that everyone hides within and ultimately to create our own music where each one will be an integral part of the circle we will create. The most magical of all is that you do not need any previous experience while the result of everyone’s participation is ultimately harmonized with the whole!

The Temple: Maloca
The Maloca is the place that will host all activities in the farewell of the coming year and the welcoming of the coming year. A 100sqm octagonal handmade space that in itself is an experience, not only with its beauty, the natural materials with which it is made, the atmosphere of its reciprocal spiral roof, but also its audio sound as the musicians who visited it say.

Yoga
Amber’s Yoga (resident teacher) classes are adored by everyone because they are for everyone advanced or newcomer. Relaxation, stretching, but also the opportunity to land ourselves in our intention for the coming year and to anchor it in our hearts.

Food
The Re-Green’s kitchen chefs will prepare daily delicacies with garden vegetables and organic products. The New Year’s Eve table will offer a perfectly festive vegetarian meal.

Λίγα λόγια για τον Drum Circle facilitator:
Ο Νίκος Πολυχρονίδης ασχολείται με την έρευνα, τη μελέτη και την προβολή των αφρικανικών κρουστών (djembe) της δυτικής Aφρικής στο ευρύτερο κοινό από το 2000.
Ξεκίνησε τις σπουδές του στη σχολή “Τα κρουστά της Τάκη” με δάσκαλο τον Λευτέρη Γρηγορίου, δίπλα στον οποίον ειδικεύτηκε στα doundoun και στο djembe, έλαβε μέρος σε σημαντικό αριθμό συναυλιών με το συγκρότημα των κρουστών της Τάκη και στη συνέχεια μαθήτευσε δίπλα στους Πέτρο Κούρτη και Κωνσταντίνο Βορίση, εμπλουτίζοντας τις γνώσεις του γύρω από τα κρουστά. Έκανε τα πρώτα του βήματα διδασκαλίας στα κρουστά της Τάκη και έκτοτε διδάσκει συστηματικά στην Αθήνα και στην Θεσσαλονίκη, διοργανώνοντας παράλληλα εκπαιδευτικά εντατικά σεμινάρια και σε άλλες πόλεις όπως η Πάτρα.
Με στόχο τη συνεχή εξέλιξη της τεχνικής του, έλαβε μέρος σε διάφορα εκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια τόσο στην Ελλάδα όσο και στο Μάλι ή τη Μπουρκίνα Φάσο της Δυτικής Αφρικής, όπου ταξίδευσε για να εμβαθύνει στα αφρικανικά κρουστά στο πλευρό διακεκριμένων μουσικών όπως οι Ponda o Braian, Drissa Conne, Reiner Polak, κ.ά. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, συμμετείχε σε επιμορφωτικά ταξίδια στη Δυτική Αφρική και ταξίδια πολιτισμικής ανταλλαγής το 2008, το 2012 και το 2018.
Συνιδρυτής της χοροθεατρικής ομάδα «Anasa» (2004), αλλά και της Α.P. Community (African Percussion Community), όπου διδάσκονται κρουστά από την Αφρική, την Κούβα και τη Νιγηρία, έχει συνδράμει ενεργά στη διάδοση της αφρικανικής μουσικής κουλτούρας, διοργανώνοντας μεταξύ άλλων τη συναυλία με τίλτο “Ritual drums festival” (ή “Ιερά τύμπανα της γης”) τον Ιούνιο του 2013, στο θέατρο Δώρα Στράτου.
Την ίδια χρονιά ίδρυσε την Αστική Εταιρεία Μη Κερδοσκοπικού Χαρακτήρα Πangea World Music Center, με στόχο την προβολή της Αφρικανικής μουσικής παράδοσης, τη διεξαγωγή μαθημάτων κρουστών και τη διοργάνωση πολιτιστικών μουσικών δρώμενων όπως οι εκδηλώσεις “Roots Africa”, οι οποίες πραγματοποιήθηκαν στο Θέατρο Δώρα Στράτου το καλοκαίρι 2015 και 2016.
Τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2018, παρακολούθησε το εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο “Drum Circle Facilitation” του διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένου κρουστού Arthur Hull στη Σκωτία, διευρύνοντας την εξειδίκευσή του στον τομέα της διεξαγωγής Κύκλων Κρουστών.
Πλέον ο Νίκος Πολυχρονίδης αναπτύσσει ένα Community Drum Circle και διοργανώνει Κύκλους Κρουστών για παιδιά και ενήλικες, προσαρμόζοντας τις γνώσεις του στις ανάγκες των συμμετεχόντων.

A few words about the Drum Circle facilitator:
Nikos Polychronidis is involved in the research, study and promotion of the West African Drums (djembe) since 2000. He began his studies at Athens, at the “Takis Percussion” school (Τα κρουστά της Τάκη) with Lefteris Grigoriou as his teacher, next to whom he specialized in doundoun and djembe and joined in a significant number of concerts with the Takis percussion band. Later he studied alongside Petros Kourtis and Konstantinos Vorisi enriching his knowledge around the percussions. He took his first steps in teaching at “Takis percussion” and since then he has been teaching systematically in Athens and Thessaloniki and also offering educational intensive seminars in other cities such as Patras.
With the aim of constantly developing his technique, he took part in various training seminars in Greece as well as in Mali and Burkina Faso of West Africa, where he traveled to deepen in African drumming on the side of distinguished musicians such as Ponda o Braian, Drissa Conne, Reiner Polak, and others. In this context, he participated in several educational and cultural exchange trips to West Africa in 2008, 2012 and 2018.
Co-founder of the Anasa Dance Theater Group (2004) and AP Community (African Percussion Community), that offer percussion classes from Africa, Cuba and Nigeria, he has been actively contributing to the spread of African music culture, organizing, among others the concert “Ritual drums festival” (“Ιερά τυμπανα της Γης”) in June 2013, at Dora Stratou Theater in Athens.
In the same year he founded the non-profit Urban Society of Pangea World Music Center, aiming at promoting African music tradition, offering percussion lessons and organizing cultural music events such as “Roots Africa” events, which took place at Dora Stratou Theater in the summer of 2015 and 2016.
In September 2018, she attended the training seminar “Drum Circle Facilitation ”by internationally renowned percussionist Arthur Hull in Scotland, expanding his expertise in the field of drum circles.
Nikos Polychronidides is now developing a Community Drum Circle and organizing drum circles for children and adults, adapting his knowledge to the needs of the participants.
