Our Mission

Re-Generation has evolved to become the main mission of Re-Green while working with nature since 2012.

The big leap of abandoning the hectic city life for Re-Greening our lives and live closer to nature, brought a complete new dawn and a miracle in our existence. Memories of an everyday life, not so long ago, of years of imprisonment in boxes, where most of it was spent without the direct contact with the seasons, the sun, the equinoxes and the solstices, the moon phases and the stars, the vast skies, the forests, the waterfalls, and the big figures of mountains surrounding us, seem today strange and at the same time somehow abnormal. Wow! We are Re-Born. The more time passes by here on the mountains, shedding skin after skin of years spent in the city, the more it feels that Re-Connecting and flowing with nature, answer individual and at the same time world’s important wonders at these times… for humanity’s survival. Truth lies in Nature.

As we grow and expand we understand more and more our responsibility of being the guardians of this stunning natural environment around us, as we were received with such generosity, acceptance and compassion. Re-Green is our home and farm together with an Experiential -Educational Center where people can find information, interaction and time to retreat and re-discover how healing and important it is to care for the Earth.

Living this life, returning to the land, drew the attention to all these different dimensions of importance to understand life in a holistic way and see the interconnectivity of this web of life. How the warming nature of a herb that grows under the strong sun of summer, can hold the cure for a severe cold in the frosty nature of winter. How important is the magnificent micro-cosmos of bacteria, for the human gut system – that we grew up massacring with antibacterial products, antibiotics and chemicals – and for the Earth’s gut system, the soil. How every time we learn about one more specie gone extinct, it only mirrors what is going to happen to us. That all the waters on this planet are connected, rain to river, to sea, to blood, to chlorophyll. Until we’ve lived on the land we never before bothered ourselves with these thoughts, questions or experiences. Wow! Revelation! Life is a Web! We are Connected with All. We are one! That was a huge shift from the city’s reality to the nature’s reality and we still have a long way in front of us to grasp the whole picture – if ever – of this lost wisdom and of this flawless intelligence …the ecosystem.

We are convinced that the world’s problems, the economic crisis, the diseases, the climate change, the pollution, the shortage of resources, the suffering of civilization can be solved by Re-Greening our lives. Re-Green’s mission is to re-use and re-cycle, to reduce waste, to repair, to re-think, to refuse in the first place, to re-write the rules, to re-view, re-model and re-design, to re-generate the land and ourselves. To Re-Invent Life!
