Once at Re-Green, just trust your nose and follow the delicious smells and scents emerging from the cooking pot and you will find yourself in the area of the magic kitchen where our hangout hub is. There, is the center of gathering where everyone meets. Residents, volunteers, friends and guests become one. Inside the little house you will find a cosy living room with a lounge, pillows and wood stoves, dining tables and our communal internet station (no wi-fi). Visit the bookshelf with a variety of an interesting collection of books (permaculture, natural building, herbs and more) to guide you through the secrets of a natural lifestyle. When the sun shines even in the winter we prefer to sit outside. As we await for the chef to prepare clean, organic, home-grown food we can sit under the beautiful settlement of outside tables and even if we don’t know each other we can become a warm company of people sharing a communal meal under the cherry trees. Our doggies, cats and ducks may sit with you as well asking for a cuddle or a snack (just resist feeding the dogs please!) On Sundays usually is when the pizza party takes place, where the communal tables are bombarded with colourful different pizzas of your choice until you beg us to stop. A bit further down, and before you make your way back home you could even do your shopping in what we call “The Sunday Market”: a mini folk open market where all the goods of the community of Good Neighbours of Seliana are sold. You can find fresh veggies, plants, preserves, handmade bags, wallets, jewellery, natural creams, soaps, essential oils, and other wellness products.
