2 June 2018 - 8 June 2018

Wellbeing Retreat ~ Yoga, Herbal Wisdom, Nature, Healing

2 – 8 June 2018

Summer is a time of expansion and growth. A time to experience outward activity and lightness. To swim in the cool fresh waters, taste the colours of fruits and vegetables and connect to the nourishment of the sun in our hearts just as the gardens do.

We invite you to join us for a week of Wellbeing and Yoga at Re-green Permaculture Farm in the Peloponnese, Greece. To practice mindfulness of what we consume & develop a healthy relationship with food and herbs, drawing from ancient practiced philosophies of Wellbeing.
To establish living habits that honour our body, breath and spirit.
Awakening with energetic Hatha Yoga lessons of conscious movement with the breath – asana and pranayama. To explore the relationship and benefits of Yoga asana with the internal organs and digestive system, stretch and expand our bodies, resulting in finding space for reflection and joy in the present moment, along with daily mediation sessions. We shall discuss wellbeing & the diversity within a balanced lifestyle, Forage for food & herbs, walk, collect flowers & seeds and learn the healing qualities within the abundance of nature. Resting into restorative yoga therapy afternoons in the shala to deepen our awareness of our inner being and relax the nervous system or visit the flowing waters at the nearby waterfall.
We will consume delicious, nutrient-rich foods and local organic produce. Drink fresh smoothies and juices everyday and enjoy meals from our in-house chef. Fresh salads, fruits, whole grains and the most amazing juicy tomatoes straight from the garden.

Owner & Founder Flery Fotiadou shall share her knowledge and studies, a wonderful fusion of ancient Greek, traditional Chinese and South American studies of holistic and natural herbal medicine. Her own personal experiences with these ailments and different uses and techniques to heal the body with natural medicine. She shares Permaculture practices and techniques to create a garden without any chemicals, the importance of plants and our connection with the earths ecosystem and tools to support form wherever we live.

Resident Yoga Teacher Amber Buckley offers a range of yogic practices, connected and corresponding with the surrounding beauty of nature. Some lessons will be in the natural built Maloca/ shala where it is cool and welcoming to move and breath, mantras alongside the flowing fresh waters surrounding the village and off site lessons / silent walks through the bountiful forest. About the Maloca / Shala
Our Maloca/shala is a 100sq/metre octagon, built with local, natural materials. A reciprocal beam structure roof covers the walls and windows hosting different natural techniques and is able to be heated by a very efficient wood burning rocket mass heater. It is entirely built by volunteers, helpers and ourselves and has pillows, carpets for comfort. Located within Re-Green’s property it overlooks the green forest on the south and the blue greek sea on the north. We simply love it.

Re-Green is not a hotel. We are an EcoCulture center and an active Permaculture farm. Our mission is the re-generation of the Earth by caring for our land, ourselves & others everyday and by organizing relevant educational workshops, seminars and retreats. We like to think that we offer shelter to our guests, inside the wilderness of the mountain, with the coziness of natural cocomat mattresses and private bathroom while guests are here to open, learn and expand in nature. We offer shared accommodation, in spacious and split level rooms of our natural built renovated guesthouse – see pictures in discussion board.

For those of you who may prefer camping,a quiet area with views of the mountains and sea on our split level land is available, please bring your own camping equipment, linen is provided and contact us for more details.
